Aircrew and Maintenance Support
General Scientific employees provide aircrew flight training and aircraft maintenance for C130-B Hercules aircraft. For this effort, we teamed with Lockheed Martin to support the U.S. Air Force FMS contract with the Ethiopian Air Force. Our experience with this aircraft is extensive and includes a Warranty Field Retrofit Program conducted at six locations nationwide. General Scientific fielded seven-member teams that included aircraft electrical and structural technicians, who supported 70 aircraft.
General Scientific supports the maintenance effort of the automatic test equipment for the electronic modules and circuit cards of an array of systems, including the Army’s M1 tank and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Our employees are also involved with the overhaul of M60A3 tank thermal imaging and laser rangefinder systems.
General Scientific Corporation is a designated maintenance and repair point for the California Department of Transportation’s Traffic Operation System Network equipment for districts throughout the state. Our repair facility, located in Sacramento, also provides depot-level maintenance and repair support for audio-visual and computer systems to Department of Defense components, other California state agencies, commercial enterprises and the general public.
